Options - Advanced
This panel contains all advanced options. We recommend that you modify these options in cases of technical problems or at the request of one of our Support Centre agent.

Use the default print resolution |
Prints the documents using the default resolution. This box must be selected if the page size is incorrect when printing. |

Use mapped drives for network locations |
Uses mapped drives to define network locations. |

Print bar codes on the T1 return |
Prints the bar code at the bottom of page 1 of the federal return, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. This box must only be cleared in case of technical problems. |

Print bar codes on the T1013 form |
Prints the bar code at the bottom of page 2 of the T1013 form, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. This box must only be cleared in case of technical problems. |

Print bar code on the MR-69 form |
Prints the bar code on the MR-69 form as required by Revenu Québec. This box must only be cleared in case of technical problems. |

Print the TPF-1.U-V form |
Prints Form TPF-1.U-V, Tax Return Data, required by Revenu Québec. This box must only be cleared in case of technical difficulties. |

Select the CCH Document configuration |
Enables partial configuration of CCH Document. This check box must be selected to be able to use CCH Document without installing Document Drive. |

Allow silent registration at next start-up |
Registers Personal Taxprep with no additional action from you. This option transmits the information required for registration to a secure database. |

Enter the CCH Scan import code |
Allows you to enter the CCH Scan import code provided, if required, by the Wolters Kluwer Technical Support team. |

Enable customized diagnostics |
Enables the customized diagnostics in the diagnostics pane. If this box is cleared, the text N/A displays in the title of the My Diagnostics tab and the customized diagnostics will not be displayed even if they are applicable. |

Enable the link between Taxprep and CCH Portal |
Enables the link between Personal Taxprep and CCH Portal separately from the link between Personal Taxprep and CCH Document On-Premise. Note: This option is only displayed if CCH Document On-Premise is installed. |

Show the options for the data to be rolled forward |
Displays the Review Tools panel in the "Roll Forward" section of the options and settings. This panel contains the options relating to data to roll forward to use certain functionalities. The options in this panel allow you to discard last year's data, to speed up the roll forward of client files. Last year's data is displayed as a reference value in the status bar and in the Xpress tool. It is also use by Taxprep Dashboard to assign tags to returns and compare the progress of the current season with the previous season. |
